Before submitting your test preferences, you must read and follow the instructions below. If you don’t, we cannot help you, and you will not get a test. This is not a warning, it's just how the system works and the current reality.

Why You Must Follow Every Step

There are tens of thousands of people just like you trying to get a cancellation.
DVSA does not release cancellations daily — they often bundle them into bulk drops sporadically.
With the rule change from 8 April 2025, car driving tests now require 10 full working days’ notice to cancel or change without losing the fee.
Because of this, shorter-range windows (e.g. only 10 days) or narrow time slots almost never catch these rare cancellation drops.
If you pick a narrow date range or restrict times, you're not in the “window” when cancellations arrive — you’ll miss them entirely.

What You MUST Do to Let Us Help You

Select ALL time slots — morning, afternoon, evening — every hour. If you only select after 10 AM, you reduce your chance by at least 10x.
Widen your date range
- For hard-to-find centres listed below, choose at least 2 months
- For most centres, choose at least 1 month
DON’T FEAR a wide range — if an earlier test becomes available, we’ll book it immediately for you.
Be flexible with centres — include more than one test centre if possible.

What Happens If You Don’t Do This?

You will not get a test, because the system will never match your narrow criteria when cancellations appear.
Other flexible users will grab every slot; you'll miss out.
You waste precious time; each day lost increases the backlog.
Meanwhile, we cannot help you if your criteria make it impossible to match anything.

We want to find your test even more than you do — there is no benefit for us in not finding it. But if you don’t follow these instructions, it will be impossible to secure a booking for you.

1. We Operate on a Prepayment Basis

Please make the payment for our service before submitting your practical driving test preferences. Payment details can be found on our home page.

2. Form Submission Confirmation

After submitting the form, make sure you see a "Success" message with a green background.
If you do not see this message, your form has not been submitted, and we will not be aware of your request.

3. Auto-Booking System – No Confirmation Needed

This is an auto-booking system. We will not ask for your confirmation before booking a test.

📌 Do not select locations or dates you are unwilling to accept.

4. Confirm with Your Instructor Before Requesting a Test

If you have a driving instructor, discuss and agree on your preferred test centres and dates with them before submitting this form.

📌 Do not request a test first and ask your instructor afterward.
📌 While changes can be made later, it is best to finalize your preferences with your instructor in advance to avoid unnecessary adjustments.

5. Keep Us Updated on Your Availability

If there are any changes to your availability, inform us immediately.
📌 Failure to do so may result in undesirable situations for which you will be responsible.

6. Hardest-to-Find Test Centres

The following test centres are extremely difficult to book and may take weeks to secure:

🔹 Barking, Chertsey (London), Chingford, Farnborough, Goodmayes, Greenford, High Wycombe, Hornchurch, Isleworth, Leighton Buzzard (Stanbridge Road), Letchworth, Luton, Morden, Oxford, Pinner, Reading, Slough, Southall, Tolworth, Uxbridge, Wanstead, West Didsbury (Manchester).

📌 If you insist on any of these centres, please expand your date and time preferences as much as possible (we recommend at least a 2 month date range) to improve your chances.

7. Fill Out Every Field Carefully

There are no default settings or values on this form. Each field must be carefully reviewed and filled out according to your specific needs.

8. Inform us about your last date to change/cancel your test

If your last day to change/cancel your test is within the next 30 days, you must tell us immediately.
Otherwise, we cannot be responsible if no cancellation is found and your test fee is lost.

Do You Want to Search for Weekend & Bank Holiday Tests as well as weekday tests?

📌 DVSA charges an extra £13 for weekend and bank holiday tests. 📌 We also apply a £2 admin fee, totaling £15. 📌 If you select this option, we will pay on your behalf first—you must then transfer £15 to our bank account. ❗ If you do not select this option, all weekend and bank holiday tests will be ignored.

📌 How many days in advance do you want to be informed of your test date? 📌 How much time do you need to prepare after we book your test? ❗ Short-notice tests (less than 15 days' notice) are unchangeable, non-refundable, and cannot be rescheduled or swapped.
